Live from New York to the Finger Lakes: Bristol Valley Theater!
Bristol Valley Theater, originally founded in 1964 as Bristol Valley Playhouse, makes its home in a converted church Main Street in Naples, NY, about one hour south of Rochester at the southern end of beautiful Canandaigua Lake. Bristol Valley draws its summer company of nearly 50 professional actors, directors, designers, musicians and production teams from New York City and around the country. With a subscriber base of over 500, the theater entertains well over 10,000 patrons each year.
Bristol Valley Theater produces and presents performances from May through October. In addition to our summer season of six plays and musicals, the theater offers spring and fall performance series featuring a variety of arts, from dance to comedy to concerts of all genres of music. Our BVT for Kids! programming features Acting for Kids classes in the spring and fall, an intensive summer Apprentice Program, Camp Drama-palooza, a theater day camp for younger children, and performances throughout the year geared toward young audiences and families.
