Method Machine

METHOD MACHINE debuted in Rochester in September 2007 with the controversial POST:SEPTEMBER11, a collection of over 3,000 index cards posted by New York City residents and visitors bearing witness to the tragic attacks on the World Trade Center.

Founded by local performers Marcy J. Savastano, Michael O’Connor, and David Henderson, METHOD MACHINE develops multi-disciplinary projects that integrate multiple forms of expression, mounts contemporary plays, and breathes new life into classic productions. According to Artistic Director David Henderson, “METHOD MACHINE is an artistic playground committed to producing and presenting daring, relevant, and illuminating experiments in performance.”

Since its inception, METHOD MACHINE has presented the plays This Is Our Youth, The Second Coming of Joan of Arc, Lux In Tenebris, Edge, and The Lipstick Massacre, among others; has displayed the art exhibits, "Clarke Conde: Big Old Photos," "A Tibetan Pilgrimage," "Bushwacked!," and "Famous Faces;" and has hosted improv duo The Manshee Chronicles, as well as musicians Dennis Mariano, M’Ville, and LouLou.
